In my last post I said that the year started quite awesome, but it didn't go on that way ... it seemed that my Mojo had gone on vacation and didn't want to come back home.

I still got out and took photos, but it didn't feel right ... until I took the photo above that I really like a lot and that made me start a little project that I call "Sticks in the Woods" ... and my Mojo seemed to finally have found it's way back home.
I thought it would be easy to find such little scenes with small tree branches or twigs on the ground of covered by leaves or so, that looked interesting enough to take a photo, but it isn't, at least not for me.
Intimate Landscape Photography is harder than you think, especially when you are used to look for wider scenes, big waterfalls or sunsets in the mountains. But slowly I get into it and besides this project I am taking more and more photos of little landscapes on the forest ground or close-ups of waterfalls and alike.

Of course I will still take photos like I did before, but in future I will take my 100-500mm telephoto lens with me as well as the macro lens.
