Ysperklamm in Autumn

The Ysperklamm (Ysper Ravine) is the largest and in my eyes most beautiful ravine in the Waldviertel in Lower Austria. I have been there quite a few times before and I have never been alone because of so many other visitors ... until a couple of days ago ...

... a couple of days ago I have been visiting my daughter in Lower Austria and one morning it has been pouring down. I thought maybe I'm lucky and the rain stops while I drive to the Ysperklamm, which is an about 1 hour drive away from where my daughter lives.

Well, I wasn't lucky, because it even was still raining when I returned to my car after I have spent 4 hours in the gorge, but somehow I was lucky anyway, because I've had the whole place for me alone - not a single other soul was around :)

I have had my rain gear on and a small umbrella was very useful to protect my camera from getting too wet while I took the photos. The Autumn had fully arrived and although everything was wet, the scenery was lovely.
